This 15-day journey offers the most extensive exploration of Spitsbergen, the largest island in the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard. Look for
iconic Arctic wildlife such as walrus, reindeer and polar bears; explore remnants of 16th-century maritime history; and experience two remarkable birdwatching utopias: 14th of July Glacier and Alkefjellet. If conditions permit, we will also attempt a full circumnavigation of Spitsbergen—a rite of passage for many Arctic enthusiasts. Shore excursions by Zodiac will allow you to land in places where few humans have ever set foot.
